We at Ceylon do not take the ownership of a Persian lightly. We have very strong feelings about responsible feline ownership, and breeding. We rarely have litters, therefore, when we place our kittens we do so on contracts that protect adopter, adoptive home, and most importantly, the kitten.
All Pet Kittens are adopted spayed/neutered. We will Not adopt Pet Persians for breeding purposes. If you do not show, and are simply looking for a pet to breed occasionally, do NOT bother contacting us. We do not believe in breeding strictly for pets, and will NOT allow it with any of our cats..
If you have an interest in a show potential kitten, email us and we can give information on upcoming/planned kittens, our terms, and show contracts.
We feel responsible for every kitten from the time it is born, to the day it dies, so all of our kittens, pet and show are placed with a Mandatory Return policy. This means that if the kitten or adult cat should not work out in the adoptees household for any reason, be it family, health problems, allergies of the adoptive family or their children, divorce, moving, birth of a child, non fulfillment of contractual obligations of adopter; the kitten/cat is to be returned immediately to us with no arguments or exceptions. As well, the kitten/cat can not to be given away or sold to anyone. That includes relatives, friends, neighbors, or strangers with out written consent from Ceylon.
We consider cats to be family members, and NOT simply as an accessory for your home. If you do not have the time, or commitment to own a cat, a Persian is not for you. When we place kittens, we like to get to know the family prior to placement, and we like to keep a solid relationship with the new owners throughout the cats lifetime! If your intention is to obtain a cat, and end contact, we are NOT the people to contact about a Persian kitten!! We try and make ourselves available to the kittens new owners, and to help with any questions they may have.

Please, don't forget to also let me know little about yourself. Your breeding or show experience, goals, location you live and show in, what organization(s) you show in or plan to show in, etc. Emails that simply say "send price and particulars on that calico kitten." Will not be answered as I find this to be quite rude with no thought given into actually adopting a kitten. This is not as pet shop. We do not simply adopt out our kittens to just anyone who comes to us. We conduct interviews and try to place them in homes which we feel are the best match for both the kitten and the new family. Our babies are very precious to us and none leave till 14 weeks of age Minimum.
